Diane performs “Tall Fall Tales” for Connery Elementary School Second Grade students. Diane is donating this performance to the children in honor of the memory of their second grade teacher Vanessa MacCormack who passed away this September 2017. Diane is a long time storyteller at Connery Elementary School leading a storytelling residency for the Kindergarten classes every school year.
Tall Fall Tales
Tall Fall Tales brings alive the autumn world of nature with original stories and songs sure to delight both young and old. In the hilarious tale Plenty of Nuts, young Beatrice just cannot sit still in class until a lesson from the neighborhood squirrel helps her learn how to concentrate. Fall Fire, based on a Native American myth, tells how a brave beaver painted the trees with autumn’s fiery colors. Celebrate fall and New England with this enchanting seasonal performance.
Praise for Tall Fall Tales:
“Diane, I finally wanted to share the positive reviews you got at Cook Hill. Only positive remarks on my feedback sheet, like: Very Engaging, Really Funny, Enjoyed by All Students (and teachers, btw), Very Age Appropriate. My daughter just came up with the “look up” song yesterday, once more. I will definitely leave a recommendation to whoever will do programs next year! Thank you again.”
