About:
1000 Doorways, written and performed by Diane Edgecomb, is an uplifting story of how the human spirit may triumph in the face of the steepest odds. Moved by the silencing of the Kurdish language by Turkish laws and military presence, Edgecomb embarked on a risk-filled journey of heart and intrigue to record the last Kurdish storytellers. The performance at Oasis will be part of her second UK tour, culminating in performances at the Edinburgh International Storytelling Festival.
