Ancient stories of trees with music from cultures around the world accompany this twilight stroll through the beautiful groves of Boston’s favorite tree sanctuary, the Arnold Arboretum. This performance event, created by Oracle award-winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb and Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain, takes us to some of the Arboretum’s loveliest spots.

The Language of Flowers celebrates flowers and the stories that have been told about them through the ages. Master storyteller Diane Edgecomb brings to life the legends that surround favorite garden flowers revealing the deep meaning cultures around the world have found there, accompanied by Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain.

Master storyteller Diane Edgecomb accompanied by Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain perform their Midsummer Magic this July at the Howland Public Library in Beacon, NY! The performance complements Howland Public Library’s 2018 Summer Reading Theme for Adults – this year, the theme is Music! Midsummer Magic is a story and music celebration of the Summer Solstice drawn from cultures around the world. This delightful and entertaining performance brings to life ancient legends of transformation, tree-spirits and fireflies.

In Cardiff, Wales, Diane will give a benefit performance of A Thousand Doorways for Oasis, an organization that provides services for refugee families and asylum seekers. The event is part of the University of South Wales' Storytellers in Conversation Series. This performance and talk back were arranged by Dr. Joseph Sobol, professor of storytelling at the University of South Wales.

As part of her October tour of the United Kingdom, Diane will be performing at Bardon Mill & Henshaw Village Hall in the Lakes District of England, produced by Highlights Rural Touring Scheme.
