Animal Tales – an outdoor performance @ Rockland Public Library, Rockland MA

Diane kicks off Rockland Public Library’s summer reading program with an outdoor performance of “Animal Tales!” The performance will be located at a field near the library, contact Erin McCollough the children’s librarian at Rockland Public Library 781-878-1236- x 11 (Children’s Room) to inquire about current Covid guidelines and exact performance location. Bring a blanket and Join us!!

This Performance is paid for in full by the Rockland Cultural Council, a local agency, supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Who has the best tales in the world? Animals do! From folktales about adventurous monkeys to a true tale of a neighborhood squirrel that drives everyone NUTS we’ll have tons of participatory fun with Diane’s engaging stories about four-legged capers.

One of America’s most beloved storytellers, Diane is known for transforming into the characters in her tales bringing stories to vibrant life. Whether appearing live or coming to her audiences via beautifully recorded videos and/or live-Zoom events, Diane’s warmth and invitation to participate brings today’s family audiences right into the heart of the story. Diane has been featured on NPR and is the winner of the ORACLE award for Storytelling Excellence in the Northeast as well as five Storytelling World awards.
