Classic evergreen lore, haunting legends of light and entertaining tales surrounded by traditional and original music and song bring the holidays to life. Award-winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb shares seasonal folktales and myths including the beautiful “Legend of the Mistletoe” from Scandinavia and humorous English Wassail traditions. Accompanied by Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain and multi-instrumentalist Tom Megan this performance offers a fascinating look at the stories behind wintertime traditions. Songs evocative of the season and lovely instrumental melodies round out the event.
