Night Lights! @ Winthrop Public Library and Museum, Winthrop, MA
July 10, 2019 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Winthrop Public Library kicks off their summer reading program with Night Lights! Free and open to the public. From fireflies to favorite constellations Diane spins tales about the Night Lights that make our world bright. Pick a starry costume and join in the Estonian tale of Lindu, the goddess of the birds, sing along with the wind to discover the starry treasure the Oldest Apple Tree hides and help Princess Firefly discover the beloved bug that she will love. Lots more in this animated performance as enchanting tales take us on a multi-cultural voyage across the heavens.
This event is funded in part by the Winthrop Cultural Council a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
“To say that your performance was the highlight of our summer reading program doesn’t do you enough justice! I don’t know who had more fun – the parents or the children. We can’t wait to have you return.” –Kim Ballantine, Children’s Librarian, Lincoln Public Library, RI
