From the dramatic to the sublime to the wildly humorous, world stories about flowers are deeply entertaining. Retold in a dramatic storytelling by award-winning storyteller and theatre artist, Diane Edgecomb, this evocative tapestry of story and song conjures a magical world bringing new meaning to favorite garden flowers. Accompanied by Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain the one hour performance event is woven through with songs and music completing the storytelling magic.

Diane will be the featured storyteller. Telling ghost stories in front of the library's antique fireplace as part of Manchester by the Sea Library's annual "Haunted Library!" Part of a Town Wide Halloween celebration.

Mattapoisett Land Trust's annual fall celebration, "Salty’s Soiree" will take place Saturday October 28th this year. From 5:30-7:30pm, join MLT for fall fun at Dunseith Gardens, located on the corner of Rt. 6 and North St. We will have a bonfire, s’mores making, and some awesome stories provided by storyteller, Diane Edgecomb! Bring the whole family down for an unforgettable evening under the full moon.
Diane is the featured performer at Beals Memorial Library's Spooktacular Halloween Party! Open to all families and children. Costumes encouraged, but not required. Bring your camera! A “photo booth” will be set up to take pictures of the little ones. Sponsored in part by the Winchendon Cultural Council and the Friends of the Beals Memorial Library.

At last the three-camera recording from performances of A Thousand Doorways at New Hampshire Theatre Project last November will be edited for distribution! Stay tuned for a release of some excerpts and a new promo video for this award-winning performance.

Diane's new book "Insights from Grotowski's Laboratory Theatre" will be delivered to the publisher on March 1st 2024. Seagull Press is part of the prestigious University of Chicago Press and this book will be published as part of their ENACTMENT series. Follow the progress on the Facebook page and look for a spring 2025 release date!
