I'll read excerpts from Source Work for Actors and share behind the scenes stories PLUS preview—for the first time— rare audio of Cynkutis leading training sessions. To accompany the book release of Source Work for Actors- Diane's solo work RESTRAINTS will be released in Video format at Capitol Movie Theatre #6 204 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA. Filmed by Austin DeBeche- this one hour premiere vividly captures the drama of this unforgettable one-woman show.
After the Video showing, Diane will speak on creating a devised work utilizing tasks and processes inspired by Cynkutis a leading actor with Grotowski's Laboratory Theatre and documented in Source Work for Actors: In Workshop with Zbigniew Cynkutis of Grotowski's Laboratory Theatre. There will be time for Q and A.
